Notebooks that have to withstand all kinds of incidents on the road - in a rucksack or even in an expedition case - need to be properly reinforced. These notebooks are equipped for any use, no matter how adverse, thanks to a 2 mm thick Texon cover with rounded corners and nickel-plated metal edges on three sides. And to prevent damage to the light chamois-colored 90 g paper of the thread-bound book block, an elastic band prevents unintentional opening. These notebooks are now available in new colors (the "ATOMA colors") and in a new format.

Texon is used as a leather substitute, but also as a cover material or cardboard substitute. The material, which is similar to paper and made from latexed cellulose fibers, is firstly waterproof and therefore less sensitive to moisture, secondly much more resistant to mechanical stress, and thirdly it does not "delaminate", i.e. unlike open-edged cardboard, it does not disintegrate into individual layers after prolonged use.
