The motorless treadmill from Nohrd is not only a feast for the eyes, but also an exceptional piece in terms of functionality. With its solid wooden frame and slatted running surface, it not only stands out visually from conventional treadmills. The curved shape of the wooden frame and the ball-bearing running surface with rubber cushioning ensure comfortable running that is easy on the joints. Training on it is also pleasantly quiet, because instead of a motor, the runner drives the treadmill themselves: with their own leg power. The concave surface with the slight incline at the front promotes propulsion and at the same time ensures a natural running motion, as the foot is always slightly in front of the body's center of gravity when touching down.

Another advantage of the motorless, concave treadmill: the runner determines the speed themselves - infinitely variable, simply by shifting their weight forwards. You slow down by coasting and shifting your weight slightly backwards. The self-propulsion also results in a more intensive, more effective workout with greater effort and correspondingly higher calorie consumption of up to 30%. The speed is usually 12 km/h, but up to 26 km/h is possible, which corresponds to a good sprint and is often not possible with conventional treadmills. Between walking and running, interval training and sprinting, the Sprintbok adapts to all types of running training and every running style. This makes it suitable for beginners as well as passionate professionals.

The Sprintbok is made from environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable materials that also offer functional benefits: The solid wood frame, for example, helps to reduce vibrations during intensive training. The treadmill's ball-bearing running surface consists of 62 sound- and shock-absorbing laminated wood slats coated with linoleum. Made from renewable raw materials, linoleum is environmentally friendly, hard-wearing and non-slip (even when the surface is wet) and easy to clean. Cushioning rubber between the slats and belts also ensures comfortable, joint-friendly walking - just like on springy forest flooring. The ball bearings reduce the horizontal friction of the running belt, which in turn stimulates the muscles, especially at the moment of impact. In addition, the Sprintbok can react immediately to the user's increase in speed.
Also pleasing: the motorless, low-wear design means that maintenance is kept to a minimum. All you need to do is clean the treadmill regularly to remove dust. However, there is one small drawback: the solid construction is quite heavy. However, thanks to the two transport rollers, the 120 kg can be easily moved if necessary

The treadmill is supplied as standard with a performance monitor, a tablet with an Android operating system. It is attached to the handlebar of the Sprintbok, with the electronics and cables hidden inside the bar. With the pre-installed app, you always have all performance data at a glance. It also allows you to use different training sequences, from free training to scenery runs and trim trails - so there's never a dull moment on the treadmill.

Nohrd has been developing and producing sports equipment since 2005. The company from Lower Saxony relies entirely on wood as its base material. This is because it not only meets ecological requirements, but is also visually and haptically appealing.
