Grates carrots, beet, celery, white and red cabbage, cucumber and all kinds of other vegetables to be processed into raw vegetable salads or dips. So you can prepare American coleslaw and Bavarian-style coleslaw as well as beet with feta and walnuts, tzatziki and co. to perfection.

They are literally razor sharp. The many small blades of these graters are etched out of the material and not simply stamped (as is common with many other models) - this is where their exceptional sharpness comes from. Another advantage is that even with frequent use of the graters, these photo-etched blades hardly wear out. Thus, citrus peels are not crushed, but cut, thus preserving flavor, aroma and vitamins. Chocolate and hard cheese can be sliced into fine flakes, potatoes and vegetables retain their structure even when cut.

The graters come from Microplane in the USA (but the individual parts are assembled in China). Stainless steel is used for all metal parts.
