Originally worn by sailors as protection against harsh weather, the troyer is now a timeless fashion classic that no closet should be without. Armedangels produces this troyer in a classic style: in a patent knit, which makes it both warm and breathable, and with raglan sleeves. The soft and warm knit is made from around two thirds certified organic cotton and around one third recycled wool. It has a striking melange effect, which is created by color speckles spun into the yarns. Rib-knitted cuffs finish the body, sleeves and troyer collar.

Designing fashion differently (and better), conserving resources instead of exploiting them and creating designs that complement the wardrobe in the long term - that was the plan of Martin Höfeler and Anton Jurina, the founders of the Cologne-based label Armedangels. Or to quote CEO Höfeler: "I really just wanted to prove that it is possible to build a company that is profit-oriented and does good at the same time." And what began in 2007 with a simple white T-shirt has long since become a successful fair fashion label. Armedangels combines durable design with ecological materials and transparent supply chains. This is regularly checked by several independent organizations. Armedangels has been awarded the GOTS seal and is part of the Fair Wear Foundation.
