The striking, multi-colored pattern on this shirt is not printed, but knitted with different colored yarns. The slightly heavier fabric is made from pure, skin-friendly organic cotton. The plain-colored trim at the neck is relatively wide.

“Armor” is the Breton word for “sea,” and “lux” can surely only refer to the light on the coast. To this day, many of the garments produced by Armor lux retain a maritime character—sweaters and shirts, dresses, pants, hats, beanies, and scarves. Founded in Quimper in the late 1930s by a Swiss man, the company combines simple, comfortable cuts and classic colors with high-quality materials and craftsmanship. For us, Armor lux uses certified organic cotton.
