The waxed British cotton fabric used by Ceccarelli to make this parka is characterized by its robust feel, which also makes it weatherproof. Italian virgin wool padding protects against the cold and is covered by a quilted cotton body lining. The inner collar and hood are lined with a warming teddy lining made of 90% wool and 10% polyester. The sleeve lining made of smooth cupro makes it easier to put on and take off and makes it more comfortable to wear. Stressed areas such as the hood peak, pocket flaps, cuffs and body hem are lined with soft moleskin on the inside. The parka is fastened with a two-way metal zipper with a buttoned, wind-repellent facing. A drawstring at the waist gives the parka a fitted shape, while the hood and hem are also fitted with drawstrings. The width of the sleeves can be adjusted using straps, while metal eyelets under the armpits provide ventilation. There are two large flap pockets at the front and a chest pocket with a vertical zipper. An inside pocket with a zipper offers additional space for small items for everyday use.

He soon began to specialise in outdoor clothing, hunting wear and sportswear for men and women, made primarily from wool, cotton and functional fabrics. As a result, Ceccarelli has been producing for Filson their European line under licence for almost ten years. Nowadays, Manifattura Ceccarelli’s own collection includes blazers, shorts, trousers and bags.
