From a twisted genoa corduroy from the German company Kindermann, which specializes in fabrics for workwear, Tellason makes up this jacket. The optical highlight: Tellason turns the corduroy, woven from organic cotton, 90°, which causes the ribs to lie crosswise. The jacket is unlined, all seams are neatly piped. A distinctive split seam in the back slims and elongates the jacket visually. In front are two chest pockets on and two insert pockets.

Behind Tellason, based in San Francisco, are Tony Patella and Pete Searson. Both bring a fair amount of experience to the table: Before they started their own business a few years ago, they had already spent two decades in the clothing industry as made-to-order clothing manufacturers. Since then, they have made a good name for themselves with their brand. Inspired by found pieces from the working world, they create particularly authentic garments. When making up garments, they like to use tried and tested fabrics, especially textiles full of character, for example, denim from Japan or weaves used for guild clothing from Germany.
