The Caban jacket—a practical jacket roughly the length of a blazer, made of tightly woven virgin wool—has become widely popular in virtually all seafaring countries of the West. No wonder, since it’s not only flattering but also provides effective protection against wind and cold. Together with Lanius, we’ve paired the traditionally double-breasted pea coat with a single-breasted version. Its sturdy navy blue outer fabric is three-quarters warm virgin wool from certified organic animal husbandry, with the remainder made of recycled polyamide. The body lining is made of breathable cotton, while the viscose sleeve linings make it easy to put on and take off. At the back, the pea coat features a vertical seam below the shoulder yoke. Two patch pockets with concealed buttons, as well as an inside pocket with a vertical zipper, provide storage for small everyday items.
