At the beginning of the 20th century, caps like this one became popular in Europe and North America. Caps featuring a similar overall shape and stiff peak (visor) in front as a flat cap but regaling with a rounder body were trending in the early 20th centuries’ working class. They were most common among newsboys, which earned them the name “newsboy cap”. Diefenthal makes this cap from a natural-coloured fabric in a mottled look; it comes with a classic cut and eight fabric pieces, panelled with a button on top.
