Troyers were originally worn by sailors as protection against harsh weather. Today, they are timeless fashion classics that no closet should be without. Armedangels makes this troyer from pure organic cotton. As it is traditionally patent-knitted, it is breathable. In keeping with its robust origins, it is piece-dyed and pre-washed, giving it a light Used look. The troyer collar is closed with a metal zipper, the slider of which is equipped with a ring sized to fit gloves. Raglan sleeves increase comfort, while a knitted rectangle at the back of the neck is a technical knitting detail.

Designing fashion differently (and better), conserving resources instead of exploiting them and creating designs that complement the wardrobe in the long term - that was the plan of Martin Höfeler and Anton Jurina, the founders of the Cologne-based label Armedangels. Or to quote CEO Höfeler: "I actually just wanted to prove that it is possible to build a company that is profit-oriented and at the same time promotes good causes." And what began in 2007 with a simple white T-shirt has long since become a successful fair fashion label. Armedangels combines ecological materials, transparent supply chains, durable design and fair working conditions. This fairness is regularly checked by several independent organizations. Armedangels has been awarded the Fair Trade and GOTS seals. The label is also part of the Fair Wear Foundation.
