Yarns from Holstein linen and Merino wool have been combined for the knit of these socks. The tear- and abrasion-proof linen faces the inside of the shoe, and the feet are treated to the soft, warm and skin-friendly wool. They're made in the Münsterland region from the best materials. The materials are used untreated and stay that way during the processing. As is often the case with high-quality socks, an old machine park plays a role in their production. In this case, it's a circular knitting machine from the 1950s, which is capable of processing materials modern machines can't handle (linen, for example). Additionally, these machines can process different yarns and distribute them according to the shape of the item. For instance, the yarns are knitted into a thicker fabric wherever the load is high, or one kind of yarn is used for the inside and one for outside of the fabric. The result is a pair of socks with a magnificent fit, which is comfortable and durable.

These socks are manufactured in the Münsterland region. As is often the case in textile production, a collection of old machines contributes to their quality. Here, they are 1950s Bentley-Komet circular knitting machines. They are capable of processing materials such as linen and distributing yarns in a differentiated manner throughout the sock’s structure: reinforced in areas subject to the greatest stress, or using two different yarns for the inner and outer sides. The result is socks with a great fit that are hard-wearing and durable.
