These socks are suitable for everyday wear as well as for sports activities, as their high content of certified organic cotton and thoughtful construction make them particularly breathable. They also feature recycled polyamide and spandex for greater elasticity and shape retention. The shaft is made of flat, stretchy ribbed knit. The heel, toe area, and sole are plain knit. The inside of the sole is padded with terry cloth, which keeps the foot warm and ensures a soft feel with every step. Furthermore, terry cloth is breathable and helps regulate temperature, as the material—thanks to the increased surface area created by the loops—can absorb a lot of moisture and quickly wick it away.

Designing fashion differently (and better), conserving resources instead of exploiting them and creating designs that complement the wardrobe in the long term - that was the plan of Martin Höfeler and Anton Jurina, the founders of the Cologne-based label Armedangels.
