The light breaks up in the ribs of the glass as if it were crystal, but pressed glass is shaped by squeezing a hot mass of glass into a form, producing this very stable pressed glassware. Even though the ribs have not been polished, the pieces of this assortment make up a respectable cocktail cabinet ensemble, are handsome at the table and do admirable service for an aperitif or a pick-me-up.

The light refracts beautifully in the non-slip ribs and fine grooves of this pressed glass. However - they are not even cut, but simply take shape when the hot glass mass is pressed into the mold.
