The blend of a fruity and herbal ingredient shapes the character of this syrup. The combination of lime and basil not only goes perfectly with a mojito cocktail. When infused with Prosecco or mineral water, the syrup also makes a tasty aperitif and is suitable for enhancing desserts and pastries.
Spicy food from the manor
At Rittergut Valenbrook in the district of Cuxhaven, whose history dates back to the Middle Ages, the best food is made by hand from carefully selected ingredients. Behind this is the Bremen merchant family Leisewitz, who acquired the estate in 1895 and are now the fifth generation to run it in its current form. The estate's own delicatessen manufactory is located within the historic walls of the old stables. All kinds of chutneys, jams, mustards and seasoning sauces are prepared there from regional ingredients according to the tried and tested rules of the culinary art.
