Keys for the front door, car or for winding watches and small parts of all kinds are hidden in these wooden bowls with lids. The design and material, on the other hand, form a visible contrast. Their clear, unadorned form is reminiscent of the simple ceramic or porcelain bowls often found in Japan. The minimalist impression is broken by the wood, whose grain is able to emphasize the gentle curves in a special way. The surface treatment with hard oil does the rest. The choice is between American walnut or oak from the Spessart region. The manufacturer's workshop is also located there, where the bowl and lid are milled from two or three glued blocks of solid wood. Their edges are each mitered so that the lid lies positively on the bowl and closes it flat. This also allows several wooden boxes to be stacked on top of each other, quickly turning them into sculptural arrangements.
