General Information
The Fragrance of Occitanie.
A Cistercian monastery steeped in tradition lies north of Montpellier, surrounded by the violet coloured blossoming fields of lavandin, a natural lavender hybrid of Lavendula angustifolia and Lavendula latifolia. The Cistercian nuns manufacture the concentrate there from the inflorescence. The resulting essence is a traditional remedy.
When rubbed on the temples, it has a refreshing effect. The oil is also a tested emollient against insect bites. The essence is highly concentrated and should be applied sparingly.
