This coat, which LangerChen makes from pure new wool, is simply beautiful and comfortable. The special thing about the material used is not only that it is virgin wool from controlled organic animal husbandry, but also that the wool is boiled. The effect of water and heat gives the coat its soft, dense and particularly warming properties. At the same time, this mechanical finishing process makes the wool fabric water-repellent and yet - in contrast to milled fabrics - it remains very elastic. The material is doubled in the shoulder area, which increases warmth and weather protection. The coat is equipped with two side pockets, ventilation eyelets under the armpits and short sleeve slits. The smooth sleeve lining made of pure Lyocell (TENCEL™) makes it easier to put on and take off. The hem is reinforced on the inside with a bumper tape for added stability.

Fair fashion from China? It's possible! Miranda Chen and Philipp Langer prove it with their fair and resource-conscious fashion "made in China" - timeless, functional and durable. Back in 2009, the two founded the textile manufacturer Jiecco not far from Shanghai, where all of their collections are produced today. Their passion for fashion and expertise in fabric development laid the foundation for the fashion label LangerChen, which was launched five years later.

Since its foundation, the GOTS-certified manufacturer Jiecco has specialized in the production of eco-fair fashion. Good working conditions, a pleasant working environment and living wages are the top priorities here. When choosing materials, LangerChen relies on cotton and linen from controlled organic cultivation, virgin wool from controlled organic animal husbandry, Lyocell (TENCEL™) and fibers made from recycled plastic. Almost all of the fabrics used for the collections are developed in-house. Every step of the process, from processing the yarns to the final product, takes place directly on site with short distances.
