Lanius makes it from skin-friendly cotton that comes from controlled organic cultivation. A small amount of elastane provides more elasticity and shape retention. For even more wearing comfort and freedom of movement, the skirt is equipped with an elastic waistband. A nice detail is the tie belt made of outer fabric. Two pockets invisibly inserted into the side seam accommodate small items of daily use.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
