This shirt is comfortable not only because of its casual, cropped shape, but also because of the material used. Lanius makes it from lyocell (TENCEL™), a biodegradable regenerated fiber made from wood from certified and controlled sources. It is characterized by high strength and a smooth, silky-soft surface. In keeping with the material, the fabric is particularly kind to the skin and has a supple feel. A small amount of elastane gives it more elasticity and shape retention. The shirt has a wide neckline. It is seamed at the neck and sleeves and the body is finished with a rib-knit cuff.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
