With its narrow width and silver-coloured galvanized brass buckle, this two-layer belt is perfect for elegant fabric pants or skirts. Worn at waist height or loosely on the hips, it also adds the finishing touch to a dress or long blouse. Kreis uses vegetable-tanned calfskin from Italy for the upper leather. As it is aniline-dyed, the natural grain remains visible. The lining leather is made from undyed, pit-tanned cowhide from Germany.

Founded in 1963 by Erich Kreis, the Offenbach-based leather manufacturer Kreis specialized in belts early on. Today, Bernd Kreis, the founder's son, runs the business. He only uses full-grain leather: classic Boxcalf and pit-tanned cowhide from Germany, Saddle from England and the legendary horse leather Shell Cordovan from the Horween® tannery in Chicago. And Kreis is one of the very few who still cultivates the elaborate art of three-layer belt construction for some of his handmade belts.

Staining of light-coloured clothing, furniture and other objects is possible.
