Lanius makes this unlined, casually cut dress from 94 percent lyocell and 6 percent linen. Thanks to the material combination, it is particularly skin-friendly and breathable. The high lyocell content gives it a flowing drape and a silky feel. The wrinkle-free fabric shows a fine sheen and a clearly visible twill ridge. Two welt pockets are invisibly inserted in the side seam. Lengthwise dividing seams at center front and back and slim the silhouette. The tie band in the drawstring, made of outer fabric, allows for a width adjustment at waist level.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
