This denim blouse has a timeless and casual look and the combination of materials makes it perfect for the warmer months. The robust, slightly washed-out denim is made from 80% skin-friendly cotton and 20% breathable linen that feels cool against the skin. Three quarters of the cotton comes from controlled organic cultivation and a quarter from recycled sources, while the linen used is made entirely from recycled fibers. The fit is casual, with a classic round neckline and straight hem. The gathered sections at the base and cuffs of the three-quarter length sleeves give the blouse a feminine, slightly playful look. Bust darts and small side slits ensure a good, comfortable fit. A keyhole neckline at the nape of the neck rounds off the design.

Mud Jeans is a fashion label founded in 2013 and based near Amsterdam. Its founder is Bert van Son, who had already gained 30 years of experience in the fashion industry. While working, he came up with the idea of not just sticking to certified organic cotton, but also taking several other aspects into account. This starts with water consumption. It takes less than ten percent of the industry standard of 7,000 liters to produce a pair of Mud Jeans. And thanks to innovative water recycling systems and special washing techniques, the water used for Mud Jeans is actually cleaner afterward than it was before. Mud Jeans are bleached using only oxygen, without the use of harmful chemicals. Furthermore, the use of recycled cotton puts the concept of a circular economy into practice. Mud Jeans has developed a take-back system for old jeans, which are separated into fibers in Spain and processed into new denim fabric together with GOTS-certified organic cotton. Accordingly, Mud Jeans is also a member of the Dutch Circle Economy Foundation.
