Twisted double pilot, formerly used mainly for work and protective clothing, is woven with unusually strong warp yarns and a high density of weft yarns in satin atlas weave. The weighty cotton fabric has a smooth, slightly shiny surface and is virtually indestructible. Hannes Roether uses it to make this coat in a slight A-line. It is equipped with two side pockets set into the seams and an inside pocket on the left. It closes with a short metal zipper and tie. A spring-open box pleat under the shoulder yoke ensures a good fit and more wearing comfort.
