LangerChen makes the outer fabric of this comfortable coat from pure, organically grown linen. The skin-friendly fabric is light and breathable and has the typical thread thickening. It is also windproof and water-repellent thanks to the PFC-free polyurethane coating on the inside. This makes the coat an ideal companion for the transitional season, offering plenty of freedom of movement thanks to its casual fit with dropped shoulders. Ventilation eyelets under the armpits make it even more comfortable to wear. The unlined coat has a stand-up collar, full-length button placket and buttoned cuffs. A longitudinal dividing seam at the back visually slims the silhouette. Two slanted slit pockets and an inside pocket with a zipper can hold small items for everyday use.

Fair fashion from China? It's possible! Miranda Chen and Philipp Langer prove it with their fair and resource-conscious fashion "made in China" - timeless, functional and durable. Back in 2009, the two founded the textile manufacturer Jiecco not far from Shanghai, where all of their collections are produced today. Their passion for fashion and expertise in fabric development laid the foundation for the fashion label LangerChen, which was launched five years later.

Since its foundation, the GOTS-certified manufacturer Jiecco has specialized in the production of eco-fair fashion. Good working conditions, a pleasant working environment and living wages are the top priorities here. When choosing materials, LangerChen relies on cotton and linen from controlled organic cultivation, virgin wool from controlled organic animal husbandry, Lyocell (TENCEL™) and fibers made from recycled plastic. Almost all of the fabrics used for the collections are developed in-house. Every step of the process, from processing the yarns to the final product, takes place directly on site with short distances.
