This blouse is light and summery and the striking pinstripes give it an elegant look. Lanius makes it from a skin-friendly chambray that is pleasantly smooth against the skin. The cotton used comes from controlled organic cultivation. Chambray is a densely woven fabric with warp and weft threads in different colors, which gives it its characteristic melange effect. Chambray is also particularly breathable, making it ideal for the warmer months of the year. Thanks to its loose fit with dropped shoulders and buttonless shirt collar, the blouse is extremely casual and comfortable. A box pleat under the back shoulder yoke ensures even more freedom of movement. The sleeve cuffs are triple-buttoned and the hem is rounded.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
