Two blocks of solid wood, set at a distance, form the basis for a stable knife block. Lined up flat next to each other, 6 to 8 knives find their place here. Safely stored, protected from unauthorized children's hands and gentle on knives in the same measure. Usable for knives with a blade length of maximum 21.5 cm.

Products from a special manufacturer: The story of SIDE BY SIDE is based on an initiative by product designer Sabine Meyer. Ten years ago, she became acquainted with the work of the Wendelstein Werkstätten carpentry workshop in the foothills of the Bavarian Alps and the skills and enthusiasm of the handicapped craftspeople employed in production there. Since then, she and other product designers have been producing high-quality and well-designed products there in the best craftsmanship style.

This is impressive proof that product quality and social commitment complement each other perfectly. The success of SIDE BY SIDE speaks for itself: preferably made from local woods and treated with natural oils, waxes or water-based lacquers, the products have now been awarded numerous design prizes.
