This Kent hairbrush is bristled with light, soft boar bristles and is therefore suitable for fine, thin, straight hair and hair of short to medium length. With its wide handle, the brush sits comfortably in the hand. Made in England.

Natural bristles care for the hair and shape it. This brush with its bristles made from real, pure wild boar bristles gently stimulates the scalp, cleanses the hair by absorbing dust and transports excess oil from the skin close to the scalp to the dry ends of the hair. Only natural bristles are able to do this, artificial ones cannot. This also creates a natural shine and helps to prevent split ends. After inserting the bristles, they are checked and corrected by hand. The wood used for the body comes from English forests, the reforestation of which is monitored by the Forestry Commission.

A good hairbrush gently smoothes and detangles the hair, while at the same time distributing the natural oil that collects at the root of the hair to the ends. This makes the hair shiny and ensures that the ends do not split as quickly. This is only really effective with natural bristles that are similar in structure to the hair. To this day, Kent & Sons manufactures the majority of its hairbrushes with such natural bristles.
