The Kaweco Liliput, now available in a new edition with an aluminum casing (the original was made of Ebonite), is only a little longer than a filter cigarette and not nearly as unhealthy. The cap is threaded inside so that it can be screwed shut, or extended to full fountain pen length. For occasional use the Liliput fits nicely in a purse or shirt pocket, but is also up to more rigorous writing tasks.
