General Information
Cable Tennis.
This rebounding game is manufactured in France and goes back to the Basque "pelota" game, an old ancestor of Squash. In the 1940s and 1950s it was rather popular in England and the US, going by the unintentionally funny name of "cable tennis". The ball is attached to a base with a 5 m long rubber band and is returned with a racquet made of beech wood.
Warning:
Not suitable for children under 3 years. Risk of suffocation due to small parts that can be swallowed.
Achtung:
Not suitable for children that are 3 years of age or younger. Risk of strangulation due to long cord.
