Japanese Garden Hoe.
This kind of hoe has been used in Japan since the 15th century – there are hundreds of different shapes and sizes varying from village to village. The blades are made of carbon steel (C55) – thin and sharp underneath, but durable and tough. The slightly domed shape (like a chisel) gives you the added accuracy and precision you might need for closely planted beds. Handle of natural glazed birch.

This hoe has a long, narrow blade particularly useful for planting long-rooted plants (or getting rid of weeds with long roots!). Blade 17 x 3.5 cm. Total length 39 cm. Weight 410 g.
