The Hultafors or Sweden meter amazes with its flexibility, incredible for a wooden device, thanks to the raw material coming from northern Swedish bog birches (Betula pubescens). The hinges are made of Swedish steel, smooth-running and audibly clicking into place. The links are connected concealed: no rivet reduces the readability of the scale.
