Forwards at a gallop! Hobby horses are about as old as childhood. Because movement is simply in children's blood and in their imagination a hobbyhorse is easily transformed into a fiery mustang on which they gallop wildly over hill and dale, without fear, masters of the world and the universe ... Well, perhaps we're getting a little carried away with all this enthusiasm. But the fact is that riding a hobbyhorse trains children's motor skills and sense of balance, and builds and strengthens their muscles. The movement even boosts the development of cognitive skills.

While the child jumps around full of energy on its fiery Arabian hobby stallion, as an adult you would rather have the robust composure of a Haflinger. That's why our hobby horse is made by hand from solid, steamed beech wood and carefully sanded smooth. Finally oiled, the natural grain of the beech wood remains visible, while at the same time giving it a soft, velvety feel. Thanks to the two wooden castors, the little horse moves easily and the beech wood handles on the head ensure that the child has a firm grip on the horse. The mane is made of pure new wool and can be brushed extensively when the leather ears are not in need of praise and encouragement - after all, a little animal care is a must before the horse goes to sleep in the stable (or in its usual place in the children's room).
