From Arnsberg in the Sauerland to China and back again. After years of production in the Far East, the "big Graef", as this beautiful manual slicer has been called here for years, has returned home. For some time now, the appliance has been manufactured from scratch in Arnsberg. As usual, the large serrated blade is made in Solingen.

The metal housing of this hand slicer stands on a tubular steel frame with strong rubber suction feet, and its serrated blade cuts bread, cheese and sausage products or (suitable) fruit and vegetables into wafer-thin slices up to about the thickness of a thumb; the size of the blade in combination with the cutting height - 15 cm without the stainless steel carriage, 14 cm with - allows larger items to be sliced (such as a quarter of a loaf of cheese), while smaller items (tomatoes, radishes) can also be passed past the blade using the remnant holder. The exact cutting thickness is set using a rotary control on the side of the machine. The raised design allows the sliced product to fall freely onto a plate or tray placed underneath.

Only use a mild detergent for heavy soiling; a soft, slightly damp cloth is usually sufficient for cleaning. The blade can be unscrewed. The manufacturer also recommends greasing the slide guide regularly.
