Bright greetings for every occasion. This set of five folding cards with matching envelopes is designed to be occasion-neutral, but is nonetheless—or perhaps precisely because of that—particularly beautiful. The neon-orange color gradient makes a striking statement and gives you a choice: color gradient on the outside? Or color gradient on the inside? The cards are delivered unfolded and can be folded, written on, painted, or doodled on as desired, and then slipped into the matching envelope—which itself features the almost three-dimensional-looking color gradient. Whether it’s calligraphy, illegible scrawl, or a child’s doodles—combined with the bold color print, (almost) everything looks graphically well-placed and well-executed.

The cards are printed using the risography process on creamy white, velvety Munken paper. The envelopes are also printed using this process and are made by Colorplan. DIN A6 / DIN C6.

Risography is one of the most energy-saving printing processes available. Similar to the screen printing process, master foils are produced from hemp fibers, which are then mounted on a drum and penetrated by the rice bran-based ink. Each card is unique: varying ink application and a slight offset are just as much a part of the printed image as the possible slight color abrasion.
