Leather spectacle cases owe their protective stability to the strength of the selected leather and the fact that a wet piece of leather, which has been formed on a hot metal mandrel, hardens and then retains its shape. They are often even superior to cases made of harder materials, as the leather does not lose its flexibility to a certain extent and cannot break.

Two-piece case, out of vegetable tanned cowhide (leather thickness 2,5 mm). The longer central section is reinforced and lined with soft goat leather to protect the glasses. Inside length 14.5 cm. Weight 110 g.
Narrow case inside: width 4.2 cm, height 2.2 cm.
Wide case inside: width 5.5 cm, height 2.5 cm.
