The garrigue is a Mediterranean shrub heath formation with rich plant growth. It is characterized by rosemary, thyme, lavender and sage. Garrigue honey, which is full of character, is accordingly characterized by such aromatic plants. In sensory terms, it is similar to German heather honey, but should not be equated with it. We obtain the garrigue honey from our trusted beekeeping partner Serge Bompard in the south of France. It is strong and aromatic, creamy and golden brown - the color and texture may vary slightly depending on the year and stage of crystallization.
