In hardly any other device the middle between two weapon techniques has been so accurately symbolized as in the crossbow, which stands unmistakably between bow and rifle. Our manufacturer in the Black Forest has been producing nothing but three crossbow models for children for about 40 years: technically precise, i.e. accurate, but in terms of draw weight and design harmless play equipment. The "pillar" (or "armor") is made entirely of beech wood. The "gutter" (or "bolt bar") is cleanly cut from the wood and polished smooth. The "bow" is made of spring steel and is cocked by hand. The arrow slams from 5 meters with pleasing force on the target (which, made of cardboard and measuring 30 × 30 cm, is supplied in each case), but remains as unthreatening to glass panes as to people.

Not suitable for children under 3 years. Risk of suffocation due to small parts that can be swallowed.
