10 Single Early Tulips ‘Apricot Beauty’
(Tulipa hybrid)
The color gradient of this tulip is hard to describe; it features pastel and salmon-pink tones, as well as a light yellow-orange and a deeper rose-pink. In any case, the single flowers bloom in April and May, making the plant ideal for the foreground of a flower bed or for pots. It is sturdy and grows up to 45 cm tall.
Grade 11/+
5 Fragrant Daffodils ‘Polar Hunter’
(Narcissus hybrid)
This spectacular new variety displays an interesting play of colors: the greenish-yellow petals gradually turn whiter, while the calyx changes to light yellow as the flower blooms. From March through April, each stem—which grows up to 35 cm tall—bears up to four flowers with a wonderful fragrance. This graceful flower is ideal for the front of a flower bed, in a rock garden, or in pots, where it can be admired up close and its fragrance enjoyed.
Grade 12/+
10 ‘Angel’s Whisper’ Angel’s Tears Daffodils (
, Narcissus triandrus)
‘Angel’s Whisper’ is a late-blooming and wonderfully fragrant variety of the delicate Angel’s Tears daffodil, which reaches a height of 20 centimeters. Each stem bears between three and five lemon-yellow, nodding flowers; a characteristic feature is a short crown with petals curving far backward and shimmering with a light green sheen. Flowering period: April through May.
Grade 8/+
10 Vineyard grape hyacinths ‘Baby Breath’
(Muscari neglectum)
This grape hyacinth features an unusual pastel-blue flower color and exudes a light, fresh fragrance. The buds, which are not yet fully open, also feature a delicate green tip, creating a beautiful color gradient. Like all Muscari, this species is well-suited for container gardening and serves as a valuable food source for bees and bumblebees. Height 15–20 cm, flowering period March through April.
Grade 8/+
10 Spring Star ‘Alberto Castillo’
(Ipheion uniflorum)
The Spring Star is one of those valuable little plants that make no demands on their location and can brighten even the most unfavorable corners of the garden. From April through May, pure white star-shaped flowers bloom above the fresh green, 20 cm tall clumps of foliage, exuding a lovely honey scent and brightening up dark areas of the garden.
Grade 5/+
5 Large-flowered Snowdrops ‘S. Arnott’
(Galanthus hybrid)
A prized snowdrop with an upright habit and a wonderful honey scent. The well-rounded, large flowers stand on 25–30 cm tall stems and feature a distinctive sinuous spot; they are also well-suited for cutting. This snowdrop thrives best in a sunny spring spot near the house, so you can fully enjoy the beauty and fragrance of this highly awarded variety from February through March: The British Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has honored it with the coveted “Award of Garden Merit” for its exceptional garden value.
Grade 6/+
Colorful all year round. With flower bulbs
When you think of flower bulbs, you usually think of the colorful fireworks of tulips, hyacinths and daffodils in April and May. However, bulbous plants bring color to the garden not only during this short period, but also from the end of February through to the summer, making them an indispensable part of any mixed border planting.
We offer you a wide selection, from low to tall growth, in many different colors and shapes, for large areas and small niches and sometimes also for cut flowers. A variety of plants that goes beyond what is widely available and ensures that the wish that "perennial pope" Karl Foerster gave as an introduction to his flower bulb book is fulfilled - that garden lovers can finally look through garden fences with curiosity without just the old feeling: "Oh, I have that in my garden too - blooms a little later in my garden, stands here on a warm house wall." All the bulbs we offer come from controlled horticultural propagation and are not taken from wild stocks.
