Folding comb cellulose acetate

Folding comb cellulose acetate
- Optically brilliant: made of cellulose acetate
- Unique: individual marbling
- Hair-friendly, fine serration: sawn by hand
General Information
Combs made from cellulose acetate. Made in England.
Cellulose acetate is one of the early cellulose plastics, which in its day served as a surrogate for horn and tortoiseshell and today is itself an original, imitated by cheap thermoplastics. The material is pleasant to the touch, never cold, insensitive to water, of astonishing optical brilliance and with a marbling that is different for every product made from it. G.B. Kent & Sons, manufacturer of the finest brushes and paintbrushes of the highest quality since 1777, makes these combs from it near London. They are, of course, hand-sawn and each individual tooth is carefully deburred.
