This tray table, designed in 1963 by Danish architect Hans Bølling, demonstrates wit and utility both as a whole and in its individual parts. Its clever construction allows the two trays to be removed and used as such. The trolley is easy to fold up - hinges are concealed in the table legs - and can be stored flat. The smooth-running castors make it easy to move the table, even when loaded, to wherever a small storage area is needed. This multifunctional piece of furniture can be used as a side table or a serving trolley and can be put away to save space when not in use.

The "Bølling Bakkebord" is manufactured in a small Danish wood-turning workshop that has been in existence since 1886. The frame is made of solid oak or walnut wood, the surface is carefully sanded and then simply oiled. The high-density fiberboard trays are veneered with oak or walnut to match.
