General Information
A rare treat
This rarity can only be produced in the fall when the figs are ripe. The Benedictine nuns in Le Barroux add a proportion of cherry plums to the figs, which enhances the flavor; the total fruit content is then a whopping 60 percent. The fine jam made from the fully ripe fruit contains no preservatives.
Provençal jams
The Benedictine nunnery Notre-Dame de l'Annonciation is located in Provence. Delicious jams are made there.
