Easier to push and move: Felt glides.
These are felt glides as used in the furniture industry: with a threaded pin to screw on (please pre-drill a small hole beforehand). So they stay in place even with frequent furniture moving and chair pushing.
And as a felt plate with self-adhesive top for large surfaces, for example table legs.

Felt gliders such as those used in the furniture industry, with a screw for fastening (please bore a small pilot hole), or a felt pad with a self-sticking surface (for larger surfaces or individually cut).
20 gliders with screws, Ø 24 mm, for almost all chair, table or sofa legs. 2 white felt pads, 8 x 10 cm.
