The polygonal aluminum Caffettiera is still a proven tool in the preparation of coffee. Even die-hard aficionados swear by this icon of Italian gastronomic culture in everyday life. Many designers have already tried their hand at working on the basic shape. And so MOKA, designed by the product designers of the David Chipperfield architectural firm, is yet another interpretation of this type of product. We particularly like MOKA because it has some handling advantages. For example, the handle is larger, more ergonomically shaped, and significantly better thermally insulated; the flat-shaped lid serves to preheat the cups, which improves their taste, and can be operated more safely.
