Still typical for Italian bars today, these espresso cups are made of white porcelain, remarkably unbreakable and very thick-walled. When pre-warmed, the cups will hold their temperature longer, and in the ratio of height to diameter (taller and narrower than other cups) the crema can pile up and holds its shape. Do they come from Italy? Why certainly. They are manufactured in Lombardy.
