There is a long tradition of hanging blown chicken eggs on trees and bushes at Easter, and making them into garlands or an Easter crown. The egg - which stands for fertility and the victory of life over death - still fits in well with the idea of celebrating the end of winter and welcoming spring. When the vegetation outside awakens to new life, decorative Easter eggs are also a must in the home. Drawn by hand, these pendants are made from liquid porcelain. For the design, porcelain designer Anna Badur draws on the traditional archetype of the Easter egg, but in the execution she breaks new ground. She skillfully directs the still liquid "white gold" into its shape, allows it to solidify and then fires the Easter egg pendants. They remain unglazed and decorate every Easter decoration in a particularly elegant, soft white. Use the pendants to add the finishing touch to your Easter gifts or festive table setting. Or bring a few freshly cut branches into your home and hang the porcelain eggs in them. Thanks to its delicate malleability and flawless surface, porcelain has been synonymous with the highest level of craftsmanship and exquisite beauty for centuries. It is made from a mixture of fine kaolin, quartz and feldspar. The brilliant white color for which porcelain is known is due to the purity of the kaolin used. The art of porcelain production lies, among other things, in combining the individual components in the right proportions. Fired at temperatures of over 1,000 °C in some cases, the result is a white, hard material. Unglazed, as used by designer Anna Badur for her porcelain objects, the matt surface of the porcelain transforms any incident light into soft, diffuse light and allows the typical white to shine gently.

Certain manufacturing steps are carried out by hand. Slight dimensional and color deviations may therefore occur.
