Reliable heating strips made of micanite, the real mica stone, toast the bread in a solid, hand-assembled stainless steel housing. The design of the toasting shafts ensures good air circulation, in other words: no overheating. And if you ever want to take part in a toasting competition: Milan Toast specifies 80 slices of toast per hour as the top load limit for this appliance - that's enough even for a large family breakfast. Each of the two toast compartments has its own soft-touch switch and can therefore be controlled separately, while the browning time can be regulated using the integrated timer. And for those who don't like crumbs, rest assured: There is a removable crumb tray on the underside of the housing. When using this toaster for the first time, we recommend that you first run it through one or two cycles without slices of bread to burn off any production residue on the heating strips. But don't worry: the smell that this produces is completely harmless.
