In knitwear, "dégradé" refers to a harmonious color gradient that can flow from light to dark or from one color to another. The dégradé effect is created by so-called gradient yarns, in which the colors blend into one another. As these yarns are often produced by dipping them in a dye bath, the color gradient varies with each dégradé yarn - which in turn makes each piece of knitwear made from them unique. This is also the case with this fringeless scarf, which is made from pure wool from controlled organic animal husbandry using the plastic rib knitting technique.

Designing fashion differently (and better), conserving resources instead of exploiting them and creating designs that complement the wardrobe in the long term - that was the plan of Martin Höfeler and Anton Jurina, the founders of the Cologne-based label Armedangels. Or to quote CEO Höfeler: "I really just wanted to prove that it is possible to build a company that is profit-oriented and does good at the same time." And what began in 2007 with a simple white T-shirt has long since become a successful fair fashion label. Armedangels combines durable design with ecological materials and transparent supply chains. This is regularly checked by several independent organizations. Armedangels has been awarded the GOTS seal and is part of the Fair Wear Foundation.
