The following cutlery inserts are manufactured by a wood-processing company in southwestern Slovenia. They use only quality-tested wood from European forests. In this case it is beech wood, which is professionally dried in the company's own workshop and only then processed further.

A glance at the corner joints reveals the high-quality workmanship. The cutlery inserts are glued and additionally secured across the corner by finger joints - the most elaborate and at the same time safest of the traditional carpenter's wood joints. Outside of furniture making, they are not often encountered today.
