Heavy and solid: the base and the glass frame of this mirror are made of solid, cleanly chrome-plated brass. This ensures that the mirror stands securely, which it needs as it measures 18 cm in diameter - a rather unusual size for cosmetic mirrors. It also needs to be stable because of another special feature: The mirror glass is made of optical glass, a material that is rarely used for this purpose because it is very expensive to produce as it is cut in a multi-stage process. It is usually used to make lenses or mirrors for optical systems such as lenses. Particular attention is paid to the purity of the glass; air inclusions and impurities are reduced to an absolute minimum.

Particularly practical: the mirror is height-adjustable, it can also be removed from its holder and can then be conveniently used as a hand mirror. On one side it shows the normal mirror image, on the other it magnifies five times. You can also find the mirror combined with a scissor wall mount in our range.

The vanity mirror is manufactured by Windisch, a family business in Barcelona that has specialized in the handcrafted production of brass mirrors and bathroom utensils since it was founded in 1934.
