The wild beauty of Capri was the inspiration for this unisex perfume. Inspired by the Mediterranean island landscape, Corallium brings the aromatic diversity of Capri to life with aromatic grasses, fragrant flowers and fruits ripened in the salty sea air. The striking scent of laurel and myrrh and the citrusy freshness of mandarin and bergamot in the top note are in harmonious harmony with the sensual aromas of patchouli and cedarwood in the heart note. They combine to create a tart, fresh essence that is rounded off by the warm base of sage, tree moss and white musk.

When Joanna I, Queen of Naples, visited the island of Capri at the end of the 14th century, the prior of the Certosa di San Giacomo had the most beautiful flowers collected for flower arrangements. A few days later, he happened to notice that the water had taken on a pleasant fragrance. A fragrance that one of his confreres used as a model for "Garofilium Silvestre Caprese", the first perfume on the island of Capri. Other perfume formulas followed, but over time the recipes were forgotten - until the Prior of the Charterhouse rediscovered them in 1948 - again by chance. He gave them to a chemist from Piedmont, who then founded a small laboratory called "Carthusia" and reissued the fragrances. The medieval formulas were carefully reworked by a renowned perfumer. The raw materials used are of the highest quality.
